Originally, the company was recognised for its advancements in the technology of radar and identification systems. Today, Harlow is one of Raytheon’s principal UK design and manufacturing facilities and has earned global recognition in areas such as air traffic management systems, identification and navigation systems, and network-enabled capabilities.”

Raytheon’s Harlow site serves a global customer base, with exports to 42 countries and equipment that is in operation with the armed forces of more than 25 nations. Richard Daniel says,

“Having London Stansted Airport so close by and with quick an easy access from London makes Harlow convenient for international visitors as well as Raytheon staff travelling to other company locations or customer sites. On site customer support is very important in a complex technology business like ours. We also make use of the airport’s freight facilities and the international seaports in Essex to support our global business.”
