Through a holistic approach to business and commitment to the concept of corporate social responsibility, organisations can make a direct contribution to the local area by contributing to economic development and making a positive impact on society as a whole.

Not only is this beneficial for the local area, but corporate social responsibility can also make businesses more profitable through partnerships with community groups and third sector organisations.

Invest ESSEX works with partners to support causes in the local community and this year are proud to work alongside organisations such as Kids Inspire, the Wilderness Foundation and Young Enterprise. Invest ESSEX has also worked with other charities including Little Havens Hospice, MacMillan Cancer Research, Dacon Trust and LEPRA.

As part of Invest ESSEX’s support, two members of the Invest ESSEX team will also be taking part in a tandem skydive in May 2019, with the funds raised from the skydive going towards Kids Inspire reaching their fundraising goals.
