Through a holistic approach to business and commitment to the concept of corporate social responsibility, organisations can make a direct contribution to the local area by contributing to economic development and making a positive impact on society as a whole.
Not only is this beneficial for the local area, but corporate social responsibility can also make businesses more profitable through partnerships with community groups and third sector organisations.
Invest ESSEX works with partners to support causes in the local community and this year are proud to work alongside organisations such as Kids Inspire, the Wilderness Foundation and Young Enterprise. Invest ESSEX has also worked with other charities including Little Havens Hospice, MacMillan Cancer Research, Dacon Trust and LEPRA.
Invest ESSEX have and continue to support the charity Kids Inspire through fundraising, building their profile, and assisting with a move to new premises for Kids Inspire.
As part of Invest ESSEX’s support, two members of the Invest ESSEX team took part in a tandem skydive in May 2019, raising £3,857 which will go towards specialist support, therapy, mentors and treatment plans for children and young people in Essex.
